typical Schedule

Typical Schedule

MORNINGS

Morning devotional:

Start the day with inspiration and reflection. This inclusive gathering welcomes participants to share what inspires them, whether rooted in faith or personal beliefs. Together, we set a positive tone for the day ahead as we draw strength from varied experiences and perspectives.

Work on projects for the campus: (no experience necessary):

  • Planting or weeding

  • Building retaining walls

  • Clearing or creating trails

  • Or anything else the campus is in need of.

AFTERNOONS

Afternoons may consist of:

  • Activities with the youth, such as sports or games.

  • You may teach classes if you have skills or talents you are willing to share.

EVENINGS

Evenings may consist of any of the following

  • Serving in the local community

  • Ropes course team building activities

  • Evening debrief with volunteers about your day and experience.

SIGHTSEEING EXCURSIONS

Explore the local culture and scenery with optional sightseeing excursions.

Options include:

  • Chichen Itza

  • Isla Holbox

  • Valladolid

  • Tulum

  • Cenotes

  • and more!

Solferino is a quiet, small town of about 800 people located in the state of Quintana Roo, Mexico, but near the border of the state of Yucatan.

With its laid-back atmosphere and friendly locals, it offers a unique glimpse into the life of rural Mexico away from the hustle.
