Gathering Place
About the Gathering Place
URGENT: We need a place to gather for devotionals with the kids, have activities (especially during the rainy season),
eat with large groups of people, and hold seminars and classes. Thanks to a generous donation, we were able to buy wood to start building a palapa to accommodate us.
However, a recent robbery set us back and we need to buy tools to finish the palapa as well as laminates for the roof. This is urgent so the wood beams to not decay in the heat and sun.
*We have installed security cameras to prevent robberies in the future.
Monthly Donors
About Sponsoring Youth and Running the Program
URGENT: Our monthly donors are who keep things running in Mexico. We can only serve as many youth as we have donors for. Monthly donations go to books, supplies, food, and sometimes to hire someone to help us with a temporary project (everyone who works with us long term is currently a volunteer). We need 60 more monthly donors (at $25 monthly) to run the programs we hope to run next school year.
syntropic agroculture And CHildren's Gardens
About the Gardens:
We have a beautiful design for a syntropic agroculture garden in which we will teach the children to grow food in an environmentally healthy way, working with nature instead of against it.
We are also reading books about great lives from around the world and the youth will be creating gardens that represent the places and people we learn about.
Youth Dorm
About the Youth Dorm
Youth who do not have a home to go to, will be staying at our campus. Each youth home will have house parents so that the youth will be part of a family and have the support they need to suceed in life.
