Preparing for Their Next Mission

I wasn't prepared for what I would learn from Grace and Frances when they decided to come visit before starting their next semester at college. Grace had just returned from a mission, and Frances was preparing to audition for a performing arts mission. They were both about to embark on a new phase of life and had gained such a beautiful perspective about what life is for.

Transformation

We watched Toy Story 5 last night. It reminded me how easily we can get distracted by what people think of us, what everyone else is doing, and the events happening in the world.

I remember reading once that being informed meant we were becoming in-the-form of truth. That is why an education is so important... we learn, grow, and change.

But right now, we are being informed by algorithms that don't always feed us what we need to know. It's so important that we take time to step away from that loop, take a deep breath, and feel, notice, and be.

These are the kinds of experiences we work to create for youth and families here in Mexico, and for all who come and visit us.

These experiences will give you clarity about your next steps, purpose, and direction.

From Grace and Frances, I learned to sing more, notice more, and love more. Each time we take the time to build a relationship with people who want to bring more light to the world... we all grow, and the world gets a little brighter.

Thank you to all who have come out to visit and for the beautiful light you leave with us!

If you're considering a service trip, here is the link to learn more. I hope to see you here soon!

A group of people of various ages stand together on a green artificial turf platform against a vibrant orange and red sunset sky.

Thank you again for making all of this possible. Your donations, prayers, encouraging words, and volunteer hours are making these experiences possible. In the next email, I will share some of the transformational experiences some of the youth in the community are getting to experience because of your efforts, too <3

With love,
